Chelsea Muslim Supporters Group

Chelsea Football Club launched the Muslim Supporters Group in March 2024, marking the start of Ramadan.

The group, established and led by Chelsea fans, unites supporters to celebrate Muslim faith, culture and identity. 

They collaborate closely with the club to ensure Chelsea Football Club remains an open and inclusive space for everyone.

The group also looks to collaborate with other support groups, including those from other faiths and identities, to work together to raise awareness and tackle discrimination.

Zoheb Gaj, founder of the Muslim Supporters Group, said:

The creation of the group and their aspirations to build inter-faith coalitions for combating inequality builds on the work Chelsea FC and Chelsea Foundation have delivered over the years, particularly through the No To Hate campaign.

The Chelsea Muslim Supporters Group aims to celebrate Muslim identity, unite like-minded fans to support Chelsea, and endorse the work of Chelsea FC.

They provide a platform for members to come together, share their passion for the team, and participate in various activities and events.

Additionally, the group focuses on supporting and promoting sports activities within the Muslim community, while also aiming to bring supporters together to celebrate Muslim culture & identity, work closely with Chelsea FC on inclusive initiatives, collaborate with other supporter groups of different faiths, and provide a forum for Muslim supporters to connect and celebrate religion and culture together.

The group also collaborates with other supporter groups to raise awareness and reduce discrimination, ensuring inclusivity for everyone.
