Accessible Help Point

The accessible help point at Stamford Bridge is your stop for accessible amenities and support.

It is located in the Tea Bar, at the south end of the stadium site between Frankie's and the ticket office, opposite the Shed Wall. 

You can collect amenities such as audio commentary headsets and Zensory lap pads from here.

The West Stand concourse, Westview and East Stand have lowered counters and collection points at food and drinks kiosks. The Shed Lower platform has an in-seat delivery service as there is no supporter access to food and drink kiosks.

The Access Passport is an innovation from our Disability Team.

It empowers Chelsea supporters with disabilities to better communicate their needs to matchday staff.

The Passport contains:

• A stadium map of Stamford Bridge.

• A section for your information.

• A QR code for the Chelsea FC Access guide.

• Access Help Point information.

• Contact details for the Disability Team.

• Access ticketing contact information.

• Sensory room team and booking details.

• Access steward information.

Assistance dogs are welcomed at Stamford Bridge and the Cherry Red Records Stadium.

Assistance dogs must remain on a lead and under your control at all times.

Supporters with assistance dogs will be required to contact our Disability Access team on disabilityteam@chelseafc.com. 

Any additional needs to support access into and out of the ground, and the welfare of the dog before, during and after the match, will be arranged. 

Audio descriptive commentary has launched at Stamford Bridge, via high-frequency commentary receivers.

Stamford Bridge also has disposable radio commentary headsets available from the ticket office.

BSL interpretation is now available on-screen at all men’s and women’s home games at Stamford Bridge and Kingsmeadow. This covers games in every competition.

At Stamford Bridge we have multiple disability stewards. 

These stewards have received in-depth awareness training and are committed to helping our disabled supporters.

They are very visible in their purple bibs and are based at every accessible entrance and seating area. 

With approximately one million people in the UK living with dementia, many Chelsea families are affected by the disease. 

Chelsea recognise that a diagnosis does not suddenly stop someone’s love for their club, and although getting to a match may become difficult, a new publication is designed to help maintain the connection.

Forever Blue is a biannual magazine available for free, to all Chelsea supporters living with dementia. 

Over the past year, Chelsea have carefully collated stories and information to create a booklet that evokes nostalgia in our fans and provides advice on local services for those living with the condition.

The journey began back in July 2024 with initial consultations with Alzheimer’s Society and we soon began a relationship with services in our local borough of Hammersmith and Fulham. 

Staff from St Vincent’s day centre invited staff from Chelsea to speak with clients of the day centre and the carers café. Not only was their advice incredibly valuable but Chelsea were also able to experience the amazing work they do first hand.

The first edition of Forever Blue features past cup wins, legendary players and favourite songs, as well as a puzzle and information on help that is at hand at Stamford Bridge and in the local area.

At Stamford Bridge, Telecoil hearing induction loops are available from the main reception and ticket office Window 7.

Seat moves may be accommodated at both stadiums for temporary disabilities and injuries if enough notice is given. 

The Hidden Disabilities Sunflower is a simple tool for you to voluntarily share that you have a disability or condition that may not be immediately apparent – and that you may need a helping hand, understanding, or more time in shops, at work, on transport, or in public spaces. 

Just because you can't see it, doesn't mean it is not there.

Globally 1 in 6 of us live with a disability. That is approximately 1.3 billion people.

While some of us experience a disability that is visible, many have a non-visible condition or experience a combination of both visible and non-visible conditions. 

These disabilities can be temporary, situational or permanent. They can be neurological, cognitive and neurodevelopmental as well as physical, visual, auditory and include sensory and processing difficulties. 

They can also be respiratory as well as chronic health conditions such as arthritis and diabetes, chronic pain and sleep disorders.

Specially designed rain ponchos for wheelchair users are available at both stadiums. 

These can be  collected from the accessible help point at Stamford Bridge or pre-ordered for use at the Cherry Red Records Stadium.

Chelsea Football Club is now offering Zensory weighted lap pads for supporters attending matches. 

Twelve lap pads are available at Stamford Bridge. 

The lap pads are weighted at 3kg, which is suitable for use by adults and children.

They also have a choice of side panels; faux fur, fleece, satin and sequins.

If you would like to use one at a match, please click on the button and fill out the form. Please note they are subject to availability. 

The lap pads will need to be collected from the reception desk at The Hotel at Chelsea Football Club before the game and returned to either the collection point or the closest steward.
